The Massey-Horner House

This neoclassical home, built in 1906 and originally owned by H.C. McCary, has a history of only four family occupants. This house was purchased by the current owners in 1996.  The one-and-one-half story home features a spacious entry hall with oak trim and an open stairway to the second floor. The hallway is marked at intervals with spindle panels at the ceiling.  Four fireplaces with ceramic surrounds and beveled mirror mantlepieces adorn various rooms.  The dining room features mahogany trim including carved trim on the wainscoting, door, and window facing. The dining room also houses a built-in glass door cabinets leading to a spacious kitchen. The exterior of the house features a wrap-around front and side porch with pedimented front entry, leaded glass sidelights, and transom.
