This two story Queen Anne House, with weatherboard wall covering, has a hip roof and lower cross gables typical of the Queen Anne style. Double hung wood windows and a one story wrap around front and side porch further emphasize the Queen Anne style. The round wood porch posts and spindled wood balustrade and the front entry's recessed sidelights and transom enhance the formal appearance of this house. In 1997 this house was completely rehabilitated, adding modern wiring, plumbing and heat and air conditioning systems, as well as upgrading the kitchen and baths and redecorating. Previously little had been done to update it. While the lack of updates made their task more extensive, it also meant that much of the original design of the house was still intact.
