Changes over the years have included enclosing the front porch with paired eight light casement windows and an arched portico with square wood columns.
These changes have enhanced the building's original Craftsman detailing with Colonial Revival-era
embellishments. Craftsman detailing is still evident in the upper story windows and the butresses at the front entry steps.
