Decorating contest winners

The 9th annual ONK Holiday Decorating Contest was judged on Friday, November 30th, 2007. Two categories are determined – with 3 winners (no rank order, just winners) in each category. Traditional: 712 E. Scott – Elizabeth Lane 517 E. Scott – Jeanne Campbell 224 E. Scott – Janice Lewis Contemporary (lights): 1820 Lutterell St. - Darron Kidwell & David Cogossi 229 E. Scott Ave. - Lauren & Steven Rider ...and our first joint winner! The judges felt the following 2 displays worked together and thus were both winners (a tie really) - 1135 Harvey – Lois Branch & Family 1132 Harvey – Ruby & Jerry Crow Of the 10 homes on the tour, there is also an Interior Holiday Decorating contest. Although all the tour homes put on a great display of holiday spirit, Ernie Roberts and his show at 224 W. Glenwood won the prize. Congratulations and thanks to all our winners and everyone who decorated! We would also like to thank the judges who spent the afternoon and evening of their Friday judging the Exterior decorating contest. Thanks so much!
