In case you haven't noticed, ONK Board Member Susan Hamilton's car and
that of hubby Ron Hamilton have some new additions. Not one, but
two child seats in each car. We are pleased to announce that Ron and Susan
are the proud new parents of two siblings, Abbey and Alex.
Abbey is two years old, while Alex is four. You may very well ask how this
is possible since Susan certainly didn't look like she was expecting!
maybe they were just keeping things from their neighbors for the past few
years? Actually, they have been attempting to adopt for a year, so when
they got a sudden call that Abbey and Alex were available, they didn't
hesitate. Now, as you can imagine, their house and lifestyle have
undergone some dramatic changes. As Susan says, "What a life-changing
event to go from zero to two." Susan says "they are active and
happy and a wonderful addition to our family. They have been perfect to
fill our big, old house with laughter and activity." Congratulations
Ron and Susan! We share your joy and look forward to seeing you and the
children around the neighborhood.
