February 24th Potluck to be Chili Affair

Come one, come all to the first ever chili cook off potluck, Thursday, February 24th at 6:15 p.m. at the Broadway Baptist Church, corner of Broadway and W. Glenwood. Eating will begin at 6:30 p.m. Bring a pot of your favorite chili. It can be a vegetarian delight or a meat lover's dream. It can be so hot we'll have to call the fire department or so savory that you can taste every bean and every spice used. And if you don't have a favorite chili recipe or don't even know how to make chili? Well, bring corn bread, roles, coleslaw, pie, cake, or any other side dish that would go good with chili.

This is the first potluck of the year hosted by Old North Knoxville, Inc. and will be part of the February monthly meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. So, bring some chili or bring a side dish, and maybe even bring an antacid or two. If you have any questions or want to let us know what you'll be bringing, call Tomica Miller at 521-7884 or send an e-mail to . Come for some food; stay for the meeting.
