Ever wonder where your ONK newsletter comes from? Or maybe you've been on the Holiday Home Tour and received a complementary calendar and wondered who printed it. Or maybe you're getting married or starting your own business and need a local printer to print your announcements or business cards, brochures, and letterhead. You might even be an association, like Old North Knoxville and you need your newsletter printed by somebody who will help you get it printed right. Where can you go? Dande Printing Service at 918 Stewart St. in Old North Knoxville could just be the place to take care of your needs.

Open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays - Fridays, Dande has been in business for 55 years. Eddie Willis, the present owner, came to work for Dande in 1971. When the previous owner retired in 1989, Eddie and his wife Susie bought the company. "We have loyal customers who have been with us for 20 - 25 years," Eddie Willis said. "A lot of our work is still done the old fashion way, but we are trying to keep up with the new computer age."

Working with Eddie is his daughter, Katrina Mundt, and pressperson Cindy Sherwood. Susie helps out on a part time basis. Both Eddie and Susie were born and raised in Old North Knoxville, and Dande has been at its present location since 1979.

Eddie is also the president of the recently formed North Knoxville Business and Professional Association. The association's aim is to promote present and new businesses in the North Knoxville area. At present, they have 88 members. If you own a business or are starting one, and you would like to learn more about the Association, call him at 865-525-6426. And you are certainly welcome to call him at that number for any of your printing needs.
