Old North Knoxville: As Seen on TV

Have you seen the house at 121 E. Scott Ave. recently? How about the house at 203 W. Glenwood Ave.? Well, next time you turn on your TV keep an eye out for these homes. A few months back, HGTV came out and filmed a couple of segments for their program Restore America at the home of David and Lynne Palmer and the home of David Whaley and Tomica Miller. The segments are scheduled to air starting in January (or maybe later). 

But if you've been watching TV any over the past few months, you may have already seen David and Tomica's home on TV.  Home Federal Bank used the interior of their home to film a commercial, which has been broadcast for a few months now. Over the past year or so, several houses in Old North have been featured on TV, locally and nationally. Restored old houses make great character actors for a variety of TV productions - and they emote without saying a word. Who knows, maybe your house will be the next one "up in lights."
