New Board Members Take Office
|
|
With the arrival of 2003 comes the start of new relationships and responsibilities and the renewing of present ones. Accomplishing both is the make up of the
Old North Knoxville, Inc.'s board. New members include Sarah Neessen and
Stephen Henderson, elected to the board until 2005. Along with Sarah and Stephen,
Pete Creel, Annalee Bohen, Marvin Payne, and Kim Davis were re-elected to new two-year terms.
Elected to fill out the unexpired terms of David and Lynne Palmer were newcomers
Beth Booker and Helen Houser. Helen is a member of the Beta Sigma Phi
and is responsible for having their house at 1411 Armstrong open for Old North's monthly meetings. Beth Booker is a member of the Beautification Committee, has worked on the Holiday Home Tour, written for the newsletter, and organized the 1st Creek clean up in July 2002. In addition to now serving on the board, Sarah is the chairwoman of the Welcoming Committee. Along with her husband, they had their home on the Home Tour in 2002. Stephen's home was on the Home Tour in 2001.
Tomica Miller, Andy Anderson, Bob Lavoie, and Tom and Donna Brechko were re-elected as officers. Return to newsletter table of contents
