Oh No, Not Again!

I was just reviewing some of the past newsletters and would you believe that it has been a full year since we asked you for money? You are lucky to live in a neighborhood that doesn't greet you when you move in with an assessment schedule that can run into hundreds of dollars per year like some of our "McMansion" suburb neighbors. Instead, we are fortunate to have a very active group of neighbors who are willing to work hard to put on a successful home tour each year. This is the primary source of funds for the neighborhood. However, we do ask that you join and support the Old North Knoxville neighborhood by paying dues each year. The dues of $10 for individual and $15 for families have not increased in the 7 plus years I have lived here. These dues do many things such as help pay for this newsletter, our Meals-On-Wheels, scholarships for Fulton High students and other worthy causes. But even more important it shows your commitment to the neighborhood you live in. Is that too much to ask to continue to have the best neighborhood in Knox County? Fill out the form included in your newsletter or send your name, address, home phone, and work phone to Old North Knoxville, Inc., P.O. Box 3896, Knoxville, Tennessee 37927.
