If you have lived in ONK for at least six months and have read this page of the newsletter before, you may have read something about joining ONK and paying dues. To clear up any confusion, any resident of Old North Knoxville is automatically a member of the organization, regardless of whether they pay dues or not. Dues are 100 percent voluntary and no member will ever be excluded from neighborhood activities on account of not being a paying member. However, the small contributions of $10 a year for an individual, $15 for a family, and $50 for a business pay for many ONK activities such as the newsletter, website, ice cream social, as well as lunches and supplies for cleanups. Membership dues are essential to maintaining the activities that make ONK the community we know and love. If you would like to contribute to the neighborhood and help us in our mission statement to promote, preserve, and protect ONK, please mail a check made out to Old North Knoxville to: Old North Knoxville, Inc Please include your name and address, and other contact information as you would like (e-mail and/or telephone number).
