Decorating contest

 

Decorate, decorate, decorate! The annual holiday decorating contest took place in conjunction with Old North's 18th Holiday Home Tour, the first weekend in December. Three guest judges from outside the neighborhood judged homes, and the winners are:

Exterior Decorating Contest (2 categories):

Traditional Category:

  • The Youngs at 311 W. Glenwood 
  • The Riders at 229 E. Scott Ave.

Contemporary Category:

  • The Williams home at 1200 Kenyon
  • The Russell/Ayers home at 1313 Grainger

Interior Decorating Contest (judged during home tour- 10 contenders):

  • The Hills 505 E. Glenwood
  • The McDaniels 125 E. Glenwood

So, now, everyone can drive through the neighborhood and check out the winning displays. Also, check out all the holiday displays as well. There are many contenders to enjoy during the holiday season. Thanks to everyone who decorated for the season!
