Fall Fling and Neighborhood Cleanup

Looking for a way to help out with upcoming 16th Annual Victorian Holiday Home Tour? A way that will help the neighborhood and your own yard? Well, Old North Knoxville is having a Fall Fling and Neighborhood Cleanup on Saturday, November 27, starting at 9 a.m.

The Cleanup will involve volunteers walking around the neighborhood picking up trash so that the neighborhood looks nice for the tour. The main focus will be on the areas where the home tour houses are, but certainly picking up trash in any part of the neighborhood is welcome. ONK will provide bags if you need them. If you have any questions, contact Beth Booker at or call 524-8515.

And to help you make room for those gifts that Santa will bring, ONK will also have dumpsters placed in four locations around Old North Knoxville. You can put old rugs, broken furniture, or almost any item you no longer have room for or desire to keep. Items such as old paint cans or other toxic or hazardous materials can't be thrown in the dumpsters, but there are plenty of things we have all accumulated and now need to part with. There will one dumpster on East Scott, one on Folsom near Glenwood, one on Luttrell near Grainger, and one on Baxter, near Stewart.
