Knick Knacks

By: Beth A. Booker

Recently opened and part of Antiques Row, Knick Knacks may be the place to find that special gift for someone this Holiday Season. Open weekdays and Saturdays.

.

Knick Knacks is Old North Knoxville's newest shopping experience. Located at 1328 N. Broadway (across E. Glenwood from Greenlee's Bike Shop) Knick Knacks offers a selection of antique, new, and gently used items.

Don't let the small size fool you; this place is jam-packed with pretty and useful things. Need china for that upcoming dinner with the boss? Knick Knacks has a stunning set of white and gold china from occupied Japan. How about a full-size carousel horse for the kids? Knick Knacks has one. Do you want a chest of drawers for the guest room or pictures to fill your walls? You'll find it at Knick Knacks. You could even complete your holiday shopping right here in the neighborhood.

"My customers are always commenting on how clean and how crafty the store looks," owner Lynda Tallent said. "They say the inventory is pretty and displayed nice."

Lynda opened her shop in September. She buys her stock from auctions and estate sales. Shop hours are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Linda will gladly accept your cash or check. No credit/debit cards at this time. If there's a special item you're hunting and you can't stop in, call Lynda at 803-3360

Knick Knacks may just be the place to go for those people hard to buy for on your Christmas list.
