Are Your Decorations Up?

I know, I know, Thanksgiving is early this year, the weather hasn't been conducive to the holiday spirit and the whole world is nuts right now.  Those are not acceptable excuses!  You should have your house decorated for the holiday season now!  Your Old North Knoxville neighborhood is in the spirit and will hold its annual holiday decorating contest on Friday, November 30, 2001.  For those of you who may be new or forgetful, the contest runs like this.  Have your house exterior decorated for the season and any lights you may have lit on Friday.  A select group of outside judges will drive around the neighborhood beginning at 6 PM and choose the winners.  If you win, you get a $50 gift certificate from Kroger to help make your holiday dinners a little more festive.  We will be giving out 6 of the cards, so you have a good chance to win.  That's it!  No forms to fill out, bribes are not allowed and the winners will be notified in person.  Please join your neighbors in making this the most festive neighborhood in the City of Knoxville.
