Did you know that Jim Croslin was given a preservation award from Knox Heritage for the renovation of his house on Glenwood Avenue? If you did not see his home on the tour you really missed something. Phebe Day also received a preservation award from Knox Heritage for the maintenance she did and continues to do on her home on Grainger Avenue. Congratulations to both of these neighbors for the recognition of their hard work! Meanwhile, Roz Gwynne over on Scott is achieving fame far beyond our little neighborhood by being quoted in the New York Times and CNBC. Seems Roz is considered an expert in Arabic and her interpretation of parts of the tape from the crashed Egyptian airliner were used in these prestigious news outlets. Congratulations Roz! New neighbor, Stephanie Lavoie was seen recently on early morning television talking about the benefits of breakfast. Finally our very own Jane Parker was the subject of a Jack Neely Secret History article in a recent Metro Pulse. Lets hear a scream of congratulations for Jane! Return to newsletter table of contents
