Notice we gave everyone a month off in December?  This gives you time to get well-rested so you can join us for the January meeting of Old North Knoxville.  This meeting is particularly important because we want to thank the homeowners who allowed their homes to be showcases during the tour and also thank the tour committee and volunteers who worked so hard on this year's successful tour.  This year we had about 1100-1200 people go through the tour and made about $11,000 after expenses.  By any standards it was a great tour.  The weather cooperated until the last minute, everyone was in a festive holiday mood and everything went smoothly.  We want to thank The Paulist Fathers, Ben & Laura Parham, Kevin & Kelly Hamby, Jim Croslin, Johnny Lane & Del Hubbard, Laura Hagler, Lou Russell, Mike & Ellen Horner, Mike Branum & Tom Havasy and John & Betty Crawford for allowing their homes to be on the tour this year.  Special thanks to Charlie Richmond for allowing us to use the Scott Project office building for refreshements.  A big THANK YOU to two people in particular, Tomica Miller and Jesse Ursery.  Tomica as tour chairperson kept us on track and on task and managed to keep on top of everything.  Jesse again managed to work with impossible deadlines and (dare I say it?) sometimes impossible people and come up with another outstanding calendar for the tour.  Finally, a huge thank you to everyone involved with the tour from people in houses to ticket sellers to bus riders.  We can't do it without you and we can't say thanks enough to you.
