Garden Tour |

The Beautification Committee/Garden Club hosted its third annual ONK garden tour on Saturday June 2nd. This residents-only tour featured four lovely ONK gardens in a variety of sizes and levels of maturity. A group of approximately 25 neighbors came together for this opportunity to view the gardens of Pamela Jones, Greg Williams, Lauren & Steven Rider, and Nancy & Dan Hugh, as well as exchange ideas and suggestions about gardening with their neighbors. Owners and former neighbors Scott Schimmel and Lisa Sorensen donated two gift certificates to Bliss Home. The certificates were won by Charlie McVay (garden of Pamela Jones) and Greg Williams, whose garden featured a kitchen sink (see picture bottom right). The tour ran from 10 am to noon with a delicious lunch of summer salads and mini quiches served in the fourth and final garden. To learn more about the Beautification Committee/Garden Club, call
