How about another Porch Tour?

In September 2001, Old North Knoxville held a porch tour celebrating one of our homes' defining characteristics: the porches. From 2 - 4 p.m. on a sunny Sunday afternoon as the leaves were changing twenty porches in Old North were open to people from inside and outside the neighborhood to visit. The neighborhood provided snacks and guide sheets, and residents provided the hospitality as for two hours people experienced an enjoyable aspect of living in an historic neighborhood.
