Did you really think I would let a whole newsletter go by without mentioning the home tour?
The home tour committee is meeting monthly in its ongoing commitment to ensure that this year's Victorian Holiday Home Tour is the best ever. As always, the committee is seeking home owners willing to place their home on tour for this traditional tow day event. This year the tour will be December 2 and 3, with the pre-tour tour on Friday evening, December 1. If you are new to the neighborhood and for some reason do not know about the tour, the best way to learn is by attending one of the tour committee meetings. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, August 22 at 7PM at Pete Creel's home on Scott Avenue. For more information or to volunteer for the tour, contact tour chair, Penny Baxter at 971-4661. Regardless of anything else, mark the first weekend of December in your calendar for the biggest annual event in our neighborhood.
