Prostitutes and Drugs -- Who Needs Them
I'm sure it comes as no surprise that our neighborhood has prostitutes and drugs. The question is, what can we do about them? If you want to be part of the solution, join your neighbors on Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at 7PM at 4th Presbyterian Church at the corner of Broadway and Glenwood. Old North will be hosting a meeting to try to resolve this ongoing problem in our neighborhood. Police Officers from our district will be present to hear our concerns and help us to devise potential solutions to them. If you like living in Old North Knoxville and want it to continue to be a neighborhood that you can feel safe walking in, letting your children play in, and sleeping soundly at night, YOU must be there. It is important we have a good representation at this meeting, because it will take all of us to get anything done.
