Park development slowed, but still underway

Development of the small urban park in the 400 block of Oklahoma is moving forward, though more slowly than originally planned. While the City of Knoxville has purchased one of the two lots for the park, acquiring the second lot will require going to court. Once that lot is acquired, the City will then lease both lots to Old North Knoxville. At that point, which we hope will be soon, ONK can begin the design phase with the help of the East Tennessee Community Design Center. In the mean time, ONK still needs to keep the lots mowed and cleaned up. That is where you can help. ONK needs volunteers to mow the lots. It takes about an hour.
