Girl Scouts Invade Old North

Wednesday, April 5, saw the Junior Girl Scouts of Troop #353 in Old North Knoxville visiting the garden of JoAnn Anderson.  The Junior Girl Scouts were there to learn about gardens as part of the requirements to earn both the Visual Arts and Outdoor Creativity badges.  According to leader Patty Earl, the girls were excited about the trip, had a wonderful time and learned a lot about gardens.  We owe a debt of gratitude to both JoAnn for opening her wonderful garden and Patty and the other adults for being brave enough to take on the challenge of chaperoning a bevy of young ladies on the field trip!
