November Events!
Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 6:10PM This month's potluck will be held on November 14th and will be soup themed. The soup themed potluck was a hit last November and promises not to disappoint this year! Besides your favorite soup, feel free to bring a dessert or soup related side to share!
The Home Tour is weeks away now and will be here before we know it! We are still in need of volunteers to help with this neighborhood wide event. If you have some free time the weekend after Thanksgiving and would like to volunteer your time, please contact Lauren Rider at 524-4267 or laurenellent@yahoo.com.
In preparation for the Home Tour, ONK neighbors are invited to help "tidy up" our neighborhood before the annual event. This will take place on Saturday, November 19th. Look for more information on this event to be listed here on the website and on the Old North Knoxville yahoo group.
October was the first month for the City of Knoxville's new recycling initiative. As can be expected, there are some kinks in the new program. If you have any questions or concerns, we have been told that you can contact 3-1-1 and they will field complaints and issues related to the City's recycling program and schedule pick-ups if necessary.
