2003 Historic Parkridge Home Tour 

Parkridge is proud to have the largest existing selection of George Barber homes in the country. Several Barber homes, as well as many other styles, will be available for viewing during the Home Tour.

October 4 (11am - 3pm)
October 5 (1pm - 5pm)

The featured homes include:

• 4 George Barber Designed houses
• 2 houses currently under renovation by Knox Housing Partnership
• 1 house currently offered for sale by Knox Heritage
• 1 house restored through Wells Fargo's "Purchase and Renovate" loan
• 1 of the unique "twin" clay tile houses on Washington Avenue
• 2 houses with extensive gardens
• 2 houses renovated with Historic Preservation Tax Credits
• 1 House renovated through the City's Rental Rehab Program
• 1 House whose restoration was financed by the Community Investment Fund
• 2 houses purchased, prior to restoration, through the city's Homemaker Program

$10 on day of tour at Caswell Park or at one of the participating homes.

Tour begins at Caswell Park. Maps for self-guided tours will be available.  Trolley service will also be available.
