ONK Bicyclists to Ride for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

September 2, 2003

Annalee Bohon and Jo Willey have signed up through the Team in Training Program of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to train for the Tropical Island Century Ride this October.  They will be cycling 100 miles in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Annalee's current exercise regime consists of teaching Yoga once a week and climbing up and down ladders a lot, while Jo's been too busy with school and work for the past several years to think about exercise, she says! In exchange for 4-5 months of training in preparation for this event, and the joy of knowing they are helping others, their combined pledge is to raise a minimum of $6,600 for the Society. Seventy-five cents on every dollar goes directly toward Leukemia/Lymphoma research and patient care (the rest goes to administration fees), and the contribution is 100% tax-deductible.

If you would like to sponsor them on this ride, any amount would be greatly appreciated by Annalee and Jo.  Checks can be made out to the LLS, and sent to them at:

Annalee Bohon & Jo Willey
1520 Fremont Place
Knoxville, TN 37917

With your sponsorship, please feel free to send them names of people you've known who are or have been physically affected by these diseases. Annalee and Jo would love to ride in their honor. If you have any questions about this ride, please contact Annalee at be@annaleebstudios.com or call them at 524-8817.
